Eliana Weinert

Apprentice
Eliana began her dance training at the age of three in the Detroit area and continued to develop her artistry at Main Stage Center for the Arts. She furthered her dance education at Grand Valley State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. During her time at Grand Valley, Eliana had the opportunity to perform in faculty works by Andi Salazar, Edgar L. Page, Hannah Seidel, and Carrie Brueck-Morris, as well as works by guest artists Christopher Page-Sanders, Renaldo Maurice, Devin Baker, and Aya Wilson. In 2025, she continued to expand her professional experience as a performance intern with Deos
Contemporary Ballet Company.
Eliana is drawn to movement as a means of connection, expression, and storytelling. She performed her self-choreographed solo, “and yet, she moves”, at the East-Central Conference of the American College Dance Association (ACDA). Eliana is the recipient of the Excellence in Discipline Award for Dance and the Alexander Calder Honor Scholarship.
Alongside her performing career, she currently teaches dance throughout the Chicagoland area, where she enjoys sharing her passion for movement with the next generation of dancers. Eliana is thrilled to continue growing as an artist and is excited to be dancing with The LAUNCH Chicago this season.
