Youth Ensemble
ELEVATE your training with The LAUNCH Chicago
The YOUTH Ensemble is an audition based program designed to supplement and enhance a dancer's training, without interfering with their home dance studio commitments. All dancers must train at an outside studio weekly.
Dancers must be 10 years old by September 1st in order to participate. Rehearsals will take place on a few Sundays throughout the Fall in preparation for The LAUNCH Chicago's Fall concert. Dancers participating in The YOUTH Ensemble will perform in each Fall and Spring concert for The LAUNCH Chicago, as well as other pop up performances throughout the season. The YOUTH Ensemble will be split into two groups: The YOUTH Ensemble and The Pre-Professional Track (must be 12 years or older).

*Rehearsals for the fall will take place at Algonquin Academy of Dance

Program Information
Cost: $350
Includes: All rehearsals for the year, performances, costume, YOUTH Ensemble exclusive piece of merchandise, photoshoot, discounted training weekends.
Audition Submission Requirements
Option 1
- Attend our annual summer intensive, The INTENSIVE 2026.
Option 2
- Two minute contemporary dance reel
- 1 video demonstrating pirouettes, battements, and leaps of choice
*ALL dancers must submit the audition form below, regardless of audition method*
YOUTH Ensemble Acceptance
Participants will be notified by August 5th on acceptance and placement into The YOUTH Ensemble.
Payment is due by August 15, 2026.
