Cayla Skuran

Cayla Skuran (she/her) is a Chicago-based professional dancer performing in productions and festivals throughout the city and Chicagoland area. She graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in Spring 2025, earning a B.A in Communication Studies and Dance, along with a minor in Mathematics.

Following graduation, Cayla joined Giordano Dance Chicago as their Administrative Associate. She is currently in her second season dancing professionally with The LAUNCH Chicago as an apprentice, where she continues to challenge herself and grow artistically in a supportive and empowered environment.

In addition to performing, Cayla teaches dance and choreographs throughout the Chicagoland area. Her love for dance was sparked and nurtured from an early age at Rise Dance Center, where her passion for movement and performance first began to flourish.

Cayla is deeply grateful for the continued love and support of her family, friends, and teachers, as well as for the opportunities and community that have shaped her journey as an artist. She is especially grateful to The LAUNCH Chicago for welcoming her into its community and providing a space to continue learning, creating, and growing as a professional dancer.
